Unemployed and Concerned About Your Mortgage?

Tune in to WDTN, Channel 2 on Tuesday, June 7 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.  The HomeOwnership Center is having a Phone-a-thon to promote Restoring Stability: A Save the Dream Initiative.

Unemployed homeowners who have been frustrated by their inability to qualify for a loan modification may be able to take advantage of this program.  It includes up to $15,000 in assistance to help homeowners pay their monthly mortgage and to bring delinquent homeowners' mortgages current.  In some cases the program also allows for principal reduction for homeowners who owe more than their home's present value, as well as financial assistance for those homeowners who will need to relocate.
